Is your horse nips when you do up the girth

My horse started  nip me when ever I did up the girth. So to fix that I put on the girth on hole one then I took him into the arena. I did one lap then did up ONE side. And then I walked him around one lap again and did up the other side. I keep doing that until his girth up up all the way and got on. After that for a few weeks he stop moping me and I stop doing the girth exicersize. He never nip me and my sister when ever I did the girth up again.
Different  temperaments  of horses

Sometimes weather can have a effect on a horses temper. You well start to see them acted differently in there moods. For example if you horse start to nip you when you are doing up the girth he might be in a bad mood. If don't know what mood your horse could be on you could always lung him before you get on. Don't over do it though cause then you well get really tired. Sometimes you horse could also have an medicinal problem if he keeps be in a grumpy mood. Then you could also try to see if a vet would come look at your horse also.

Horse shows

Horse shows can be really fun! They also get you nerves. You get nerves most of the time o. You first couple of horse shows but that doesn't mean you won't het later on. Even in a lesson I still get nerves sometimes. Not in,y can you get nerves at horse shows but you horse can to. Which wo t make a good ride at all. Most of the time horse get nerves because they pick up on you how nerves you are. The best way to stop you nerves is keep breathing and stay calm.

There also other things to get you and you horse worked up other than nerves. Your horse could maybe get spooky with all the People  running around. You try to stay some where quit until it's your turn to go into the ring.the most important thing at a horse show to do though is to stay calm.

Why do you fall off horses

99% of the time you fall off a horse is becuse you made a MISTAKE. In all the time I falleed off a horse was BECUSE I did something wrong. Even if they spook there a good chance that you could have stayed on. Don't feel bad though if you do fall off becuse people say if you fall off 100 time than you become a pro rider. The reason for that is becuse than you made enough mistake, then you can fix what you did wrong. The one thing my riding teacher told me though is if after you fall off you horse and you aren't hirt than a.ways get back on.

What kind of horse to get?

It all depends on what kind of a rider you are. For me I'm a ride who gets nerves when trying out new things so I need a horse that knows everything but could still last me and my sister along time. We were looking at horses that where between the ages 7-11. We end up getting a horse that was 8. If you rode horses all your life than you might want to look that horses that is still a baby. If you are an child that is only 10 and haven't rode for a long time you might want to look at horses that are older. You will want to try out different horse as well. If the horse works good with you and you feel good with that horse than you might want to try that horse one more time. Size doesn't really matter in a horse. Unless you are really tall you might want to get a taller horse. Just so you don't touch the ground. Other than that height in a horse doesn't matter. One of the biggest thing I could have look at differently is the color. Its ok if you want a different kind of color just font push it.
Is it worth buying a horse?

I think it is. Then you have a new pet for the family. When I got my horse it was one of the best things that happend to me! Owning a horse take a lot of responsibility and time. If you are doing any sports than maybe you should think of which one you want more in life. It took me around 6 years to convince my parents to let me get a horse. I still had to make some sacrifice through. My mom told me that either I shared a horse with my sister or don't get a horse. I chosed to just share a horse with my sister. Sometime I wish I didn't have to share a horse with my sister but life never consider to be fair. I would never want to change that chose that I made. My sister and I make it work and That all that matters.

Buying a horse

I think one thing that is really stressing about being a person that loves horses is when you finally realize that you are ready for a horse. For me it was really exciting and all but when we actualy start looking at horse on the Internet it get hard and stressful. When you end up loving it and realize it to far away or it's over budget. It stinks. I know from experience however once you find that perfect horse you well truly let out a big breath and all the stress is off you shoulders.

If you are new to buying a horse you should have a coach with you unless you complete know what to look for when you go horse shopping. When we went to go look at horses we had are coach with us. Until we where look for my sister horse. By than you knew what we where looking for. So we took a lot of videos to show our coach back home.

Well we were think about buying a new horse. At first I was happy to have a horse of my own cause I share zinc with my sister. Then I was thinking and I figerd that it wasn't that bad sharing a horse with
my sister. Manly cause if I'm at a friends house or something she could always go and take care of him with out me. Plus she does basketball and drag racing as well. My point is no matter what Zinc my horse would always have someone there to take care of him so I guess it works out. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of things that isn't to helpful sharing a horse with her. That fact that we can only rided him once in each lesson or that we both need to brush him at the same time. Which isn't easy if you ask me. We don't really share a room or anything so to end up haveing to share a horse is very hard to make it work. It was either share a horse with her or no horse so I chose a horse which you can proble tell. I have wait for a horse half of my life so I can share a horse with her anyway. I guess my mom made a good point my sister already rode for a year and me around seven or six so it just made sense that we shared a horse. It's kind of weird that I love horse cause my family members doesn't really. So really I guess my mom wanted to make share in was not going to quit riding after we got the horse. Which I understand why she waited so long. All of my other sports that I did when I was younger I quit after a year. Although I kept doing riding. So I guess being that horse was worth it.

My point is taking care of a horse is ally of money and a lot of time. Sometimes you have to give up other things like friends because you have to go and take care of that horse. However that horses will always be the best friend you could ever have
