How to make riding fun

I find it more fun when you have people you trust riding with you. Then you can laugh and do child things with them. You can cheer the, on and give them pointers on riding. Imp starting to have more fun riding now BECUSE we have are own little group that we all hnd out with. After all two heads are better than one 😄😃

Best thing about the owning a horse

My dad does drag racing,boating, snowmobile, stuff like that so I never understand were I understand why I love horse the way I do? That end my family is pretty competitive if you ask me. I don't even want to do horse shows I just want to go to the stable and rode with my horse. Some people just want a Cinderella or a wonderland life. Well my wonderland life is at my stanles with just my horse.  There a saying that I have a horse so I don't need a boyfriend and you know what that's true for me. They say that when your horse follows you without being asked or he rubs his head on yours. When you look at him and feel a tingle down your spine you know you are loved! I think that is one of the best things about owning a horse. You can tell that horse of yours your biggest secret and he won't tell anyone. Then again he can't so yeah but you knows he here's it cause he has ears. You get it. That horse is your best friend. He would never leave you but than again he can't unless you sell him. Well I shoudnt say that he could jump the fence and run away. Trust me I know me horse can we saw him do it. That a lomg story and a different one. Anyway own a horse is the best. I know that we are never going to sell him never. Which is good cause I dislike going horse shopping a lot so yeah. Owning a horse is the best. Thing you could ever do.

Stopping in front of jumps

 When I ride most of the time my horse stopping in front of a jump is because I'm looking down.
So to fix that I look up a find a spot on the the wall and just kept looking at it. Another reason why a horse might stop in front of a jump is because maybe you don't hve enough leg. Make shure though you have an even enough leg so your horse doesn't run out.

Funny moments with my horse

Well I got to say that horse of mine is defintly goofy. I guess that the nick name we give him ever since we brought him home. You see with the whole eye thing he just start to have his movements. So then my riding teacher talked to him about being goofy and I guess we just started calling him that. I also call him Mr. Zinc though. One thing for share though is he truly is a goof ball. So there is a lot of  things though that he did to make me laugh. Like the time I was putting brushes away by the stall and of corse he took a drink of water comes up to me  and drip water all over me. If really funny the face he gives you when he knows you have a treat with you. Last Tuesday he decided to sick his tough out. So I took a picture of it  and showed my mom. She looked at it funny and turn to and asked what in his mouth. I looked at her a told her it was his tough. She bursted out laughing. I don't really care if thT horse of mined is just a pet at least me makes me laugh. I really don't get my horse at all but at least when I'm mad at him I  ot for that long.

My blind horse

You now when you go and look at something new like a phone and people say it's going to be cool. Then as soon as you go and buy it you realize that it's not as good as they say well that king of happend to me. When we went to go buy are horse they said he was young and calm but the one thing they never told us was that they had an eye problem. Which would have been good to know before we bought Zinc. The thing is that for the first mouth  he was really good and everything. We could even do a gym line. That is when you have jumps in a line but the first jump doesn't have a strid to the other jump. Then the second jump has a strid to the last jump. A strid is like taking a step in a run for us. Anyway after that mouth we had him start to buck us off.

Although I guess it's not really buck he put his head down and shake us off. So after mouths of vet checks we finally found out what happens with Zinc and I was not shocked it wasn't what we first though. It took us five mouths to finally get his eye back on track. I got told that his eye is always going to be half blind even though now it looks normal. The vet,Megan said that she had a horse that had a problem that affected the way she had to ride him. That what happend to us to. She said though the good thing is though that becuse even though he needs me and my sister that much more to guid him. We can also learn so much more from zinc too and not only that we can become that much better of rider. My grandpa said to me that most people would have put that horse down. I guess everybody has there ways of making money. He maybe more of a pet but he my pet and that's find with me. Well maybe they are right about one thing, everything happens for a reason.

Horse show nerves

I always got nervers when I did horse shows. Which isn't good cause horses can pick up on your nerves. So then they just become scared. At a horse show it always took me the first round for my butterfly's to stop but that perfect senses cause my first round was always my worst. I always like clinc better though. I find you end up learning more from them then at a horse show. I always was more confident At clinc than horse show. Horse shows can be fun but I was always more nerves becuse of what my horse might act like. That and the whole point of being judged to. I like horse show cause it shows me what I learn over the year. But soonSoon after you do your first round you forget all about your nerves.
